May 21, 2001 - Edgar has been improving. His fever has gone down, but his condition is still mysterious...

May 20, 2001 - Numerous tests are performed by top South African doctors and scientists, in a futile attempt at unlocking the mystery of Edgar's condition. The doctors think it may be liver damage, possibly caused by his snake bite last summer. He has a fever, won't eat his food, and is very lethargic. May 19, 2001 - Edgar is admitted to the hospital as his condition becomes grave...

May 19, 2001 - Happy 1st Birthday to our daughter, Ella. For her birthday today we had Chocolate cake, opened presents, and had a BBQ with Nanny and Pops at our flat in Gallo Manor. For her birthday, Ella got a some lovely presents from everyone. Thank you all. She also got a huge Teletubby baloon, which she was fascinated with. All in all, it was a nice relaxing day in the back yard, and everyone had a great time. Happy Birthday, little baby!

May 9, 2001 - Edgar contracts a strange illness and baffles doctors in 3 different continents.

May 8, 2001 - Ellie and Sal return safely from Britain. Welcome back!

April 20, 2001 - ELLA WALKS!! Yes, everyone, she walked for the first time, one day after her 11 month old birthday. We must mention that the first steps were from the couch over to the chair in the living room. Her second time was in her bedroom later that day. Sally and she are leaving for the UK tomorrow, so we'll see how she does when she gets back.

April 17, 2001 - Happy Birthday Mom! (Gloria). We are all thinking of you today, and hope you have an extra-special birthday!!!

April 15, 2001 - Happy Easter everyone. The Easter bunny arrived at Gallo Manor, with lots of chocolate Easter eggs for Sally and Ella to go searching for. For Easter lunch, we went to Mary and Jim's flat in Sandton. We had a lovely time, and ate some amazing beef filet, with rocket and egg noodles. It was a nice and quiet afternoon, and very relaxing. "A perfect day."

Also in April 15th News: Happy Birthday Drew Willis! Today is Drew's 3rd birthday. We hope you get lots and lots of toys and have a big fat birthday cake!

April 14, 2001 - Edgar and Ziggy arrived safely from Phoenix to the JohnsonPlanet in South Africa. They were pretty exhausted, but in good spirits, as we opened their transport cages at the airport in Johannesburg. They jumped up and down with great enthusiasm at being off the plane!
